A popular option for our younger patients who may not have all their adult teeth through, the removable braces are extremely effective in resolving simple bite issues and simplifying later fixed brace treatment.

They are constructed from clear acrylic material and are held in the mouth with metal clips. The colour of the acrylic can be custom made to match our patients’ wishes and sometimes can be used at the same time as fixed braces. They are very easy to wear and well tolerated by all of our patients.

They are usually kept in the mouth all the time apart from brushing teeth, PE and other sporting commitments. Your Orthodontist will be able to tell you exactly how much your brace needs to be worn in order to work.
